REAL Erwan Heussaff

the fat kid inside
“I LOVE THAT EXPRESSION.

But for Erwan Heussaff it comes from a much deeper place of from personal experience
just five years ago he was twice his size, and did not at all care about his looks.
HE SAID F*CK IT.
The plan was to just get big as possible, that way be able to try e-v-e-r-y possible food out there.
And he did.
Until one night he cooked for himself, and that was it.
He discovered the healthier alternative was in his hands.
He learned the nitty gritty of it all at 2AM in the back kitchen of hotels that he worked for
from China, Greece, Vietnam,
making friends with the chefs and taking the night shift.
THAT IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENED.
ERWAN WANTS A FOOD REVOLUTION IN MANILA
He wants to teach different things.
He wants to see our local culinary scene will grow.
He wants to see change.
He wants to see different restaurants come in aside from American fast food chains.
It has happened in Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong.
He believes Manila is the next.

RADICAL Olivia d'Aboville & Denis Lagdameo

In December the BGC Offsite Gallery will be transformed into an imaginary garden
with interactive installations by Denis Lagdameo and light flowers by Olivia d’Aboville.
Inspired by wild flora, The Garden will showcase stylized plants and flower-looking installations of different sizes.
Visitors can rest or interact with large scale pieces and walk through the flower gardens and giant dandelions.
The Garden uses energy-saving lighting to promote environmentally sustainable light art installations.
Visitors can witness the change at nightfall when the pieces come to life with colorful lighting.
The Garden is a sustainable installation partially made of recycled pieces.
After the exhibition, the pieces will be transformed again into something new.
